The exciting highlight of our concert on Saturday 28th March is ‘Misa a Buenos Aires’ (also known as MisaTango) by Argentinian tango composer Martin Palmeri. It blends the Latin words of the Mass with the toe-tapping harmonies, rhythms, melodies and characteristics of tango. Accompanied by a live tango band of accordion, piano, violin and cello.

The concert also includes earlier (but equally jazzy) Latin American music by ‘the three Juans’ – Juan Garcia de Salazar, Juan de Araujo and Juan Gutierrez de Padilla – pop-stars of the Renaissance.

It will be a feast of energetic and rhythmic music guaranteed to leave you with a spring in your step.
